“’Have faith and not fear’ was what the other women in Nicaraguan jail said to Allison, a.k.a. Alli Bee, when she was curled up in the corner of her jail cell crying. She felt lost in the dark, but her future readers were her strength when she was weak. Through divorce, addiction, and toxic relationships, you see her raw, true, painful choices that have led her to where she is now. She chose to be as vulnerable as possible in hopes that her story can help others realize their potential for growth.”

“You must understand the dark, to fully understand and crave the light. This book contains many years of struggle yet, deep inside, Alli Bee knew it was her purpose to understand the meaning of walking in the light. She shares her deepest darkest secrets in order to show that it is possible to find the light at the end of the tunnel, and actually come out stronger on the other side. She hopes this book can inspire her readers to feel more comfortable in their skin and courageous enough to accomplish their dreams. Her vulnerability not only helps her be more relatable, but her realness also encourages others to feel radically okay with their past and pain.”

Alli Bee, Author

This book is the story of my life. A story that I have been writing for the past nine years. I share in depth my struggles to find my light and be able to be free of my pain, anxiety, vicious cycles and battles with the shadow side. I have been pouring my heart in soul into finding a way towards the light. I go through almost everything that would be in your biggest nightmare, knowing that this was all happening for a reason. So I can sympathize, be able to connect with my readers, so I can speak from experience through my journey to get where I am today. At one point I was living in the darkest moments of my life, knowing that this journey is going to help so many. I had to be strong enough to do the research, I had to walk in the dark to find the light. Almost to a point where it almost killed me, a few times. Knowing that one day someone would be reading my words in the same place as I was, became my strength. This became my push to succeed and reach my light, my potential; and to shine! I found the one thing that led me to where I am now is following my heart. This is my mission and my purpose is to share and inspire…anyone. In any circumstance. At any point in their life.

“Alli’s memoir takes the reader on a dark, but enlightened journey of the self, and speaks to the idea that it’s not the light at the end of the tunnel that’s the illusion—the tunnel is. She also teaches us that love, for others and for oneself, is the most important thing you can give and hope to receive. With the utmost light and love, I know her life story and her writing will never cease to help others face and befriend their own darkness for years to come.”
